Before joining Seertech in 2008 as Managing Director of the Americas region, Scott led a successful cloud-based LMS solution in Australia, with ANZ’s eTrain in 2000. He also created and ran one of the first and largest cloud-based ‘learning as a service’ businesses in Australia from 2004-2008. Under his guidance at Seertech, the company has gone from strength to strength, culminating in an impressive 97% customer retention rate.

There are two key aspects of working at Seertech that Scott believes make his role particularly fulfilling. Firstly, he can make a tangible difference to Seertech’s customers. “The work we do not only helps others to learn and develop, but also directly and measurably boost productivity, open up new opportunities, and generate revenue,” Scott says. “Moreover, it improves efficiencies in organisations that allows them to grow, mature and create their own positive marks on society.”
He also appreciates the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest minds in the industry. “At Seertech, I’m surrounded by passionate, dedicated and incredibly talented people that inspire and motivate me to do my very best for our customers.”
Scott has shared his expertise at panel and speaking engagements at a range of industry events in Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., and the U.S. These have included the Oracle HR Users Group, the American Institute of Training & Development, the DevLearn Conference, and the Association of Talent Development Conference, to name a few.
Outside of work, his interests range from home renovations, to spending time with his wife and two teenage daughters, to flying private planes. There are a number of causes that speak to his heart, including supporting climate change NGOs and the Glasgow School of Art.
