About us

Community Involvement

At Seertech, we don’t consider corporate social responsibility to be simply a checkbox to tick off. We believe—both as a company and as a collective of individuals—in the importance of giving back to the community.

In order to do our part, we partner with causes we genuinely care about. As you’ll discover below, we also encourage and provide the framework for our staff to do the same.

How we’re lending a helping hand

In Australia, we support a handful of organisations that are known for their tremendous work in helping out those less fortunate.

For example, we support The Smith Family through the sponsorship of two children. The Smith Family is an independent Australian charity that focuses on “helping disadvantaged Australian children to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.”

The reason The Smith Family’s work speaks to us is that through our own work creating education-based products, we get to see the value education has in transforming people’s lives for the better.

We also support Vincentian House and Matthew Talbot Hostel, which are both part of St Vincent De Paul Society’s NSW Support Services. Vincentian House provides “a crisis accommodation and case management service for families and women,” while the Matthew Talbot Hostel offers “accommodation and specialised support to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.”

We believe that every person should have access to a safe roof over their head, regardless of their personal or financial circumstances. That’s why we run donation drives for these non-profits’ respective winter appeals. During our donation drives, all members of staff are encouraged to donate what they can, whether it be blankets, food, toiletries, or other essential items.

In the U.S, we have been an official corporate sponsor of the outdoor education non-profit, the Montana Wilderness School, for a number of years. The key mission of the Montana Wilderness School is to “provide empowering expeditionary wilderness courses to youth that foster personal growth and cultivate a conservation ethic through connecting with remote landscapes and wild places.”

As a ‘Wolverine Level’ corporate sponsor, we hope that our contributions can play a part in supporting the next generation to appreciate and help conserve the beauty of the world around us. We also hope our sponsorship helps the program’s participants to realise the power they have as individuals to make a real and lasting impact on the future of our planet.

Our staff wellness program

It’s our vision at Seertech to foster a work environment that genuinely recognises the value of community involvement. In addition to our efforts above, we have a framework in place to empower our staff to contribute to the causes they care about.

As part of our Wellness Program, each team member can take advantage of:

  • Dollar-for-dollar matching of donations to non-profit organisations
  • Paid time off to engage in charity work

By taking a holistic approach to community involvement, we strive to do our part in helping local communities as well as our planet. After all, we want Seertech to become known as a company that not only provides world-class LMS solutions, but also one that takes its corporate social responsibility seriously.
